Information You Submit
Terms Entered in Search
A name, place, or other term entered in a search box is sent to the third-party provider that operates the search service. Osceola County Released Inmates does not keep or log those search terms on its own systems.
Emails and Contact Messages
When you email us or use a contact form, we retain the message and contact details needed to respond. We do not share that correspondence outside our organization unless disclosure is required by law.
Details Collected During Visits
Standard web systems may record basic technical and usage details when a page loads. These records can include:
- The internet protocol address used for the visit
- Browser name and version
- Device category and operating system
- Pages viewed and time spent on them
- The referring website, when one is supplied
- Date and time stamps for requests
Browser Cookies
Cookies help measure how visitors move through the site and which features are useful. Most browsers let you reject or remove cookies. Blocking them may cause some site or partner features to work differently.
How Information Is Used
- Keep pages available and responsive
- Send search requests to the selected partner service
- Understand which resources visitors use
- Detect errors and correct technical problems
- Display advertising that may reflect visitor interests
Privacy Beyond Our Pages
Links may lead to sheriff and corrections pages, release-record portals, government systems, or outside search tools. Once you follow a link, the destination’s privacy terms and data practices apply. Review them before sending information.
Advertising providers may use their own systems to measure activity across different websites and select interest-based ads. That tracking occurs through the provider’s technology, not through records maintained directly by Osceola County Released Inmates.
Parties That May Receive Data
We do not sell personal information. Limited data may be provided to:
- Search partners that process submitted queries
- Analytics providers that measure site use
- Advertising networks that deliver or assess ads
- Law enforcement or government bodies acting under a valid legal order
Safeguards and Their Limits
Reasonable, standard practices are used to protect information in our control. No internet-connected service can be guaranteed free from intrusion, loss, or unauthorized access, so we cannot promise breach-proof security.
Visitors Younger Than Eighteen
The site is intended for adults and does not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 18. If a minor submitted information, contact us so a deletion request can be reviewed and handled.
Your Privacy Choices
- Ask for a copy of personal data held about you
- Request correction of inaccurate information
- Ask that eligible personal information be erased
- Object to or opt out of certain processing where available
Changes to This Notice
